Assembly brings together a dynamic group of artists each of whom deals with, or engages in, the act of drawing. The selection of work featured covers a variety of media and illustrates the versatility displayed by the Gallery's artists. Whether used solely as a preliminary step in the creation process, or as an expressive medium in its own right, this show illustrates the impact that the act of drawing can have. Assembly includes the work of Graham Gillmore, Derek Liddington, Robert Olsen and Alison Yip among others, and will present new works previously unseen by Vancouver audiences.
