Whatever your level, whatever your style, this workshop will set you on the path towards mastery. These five evening sessions are designed for those with some figure drawing experience, whether beginner or advanced, and will build on your current skills set.

We will be drawing from a live model with sustained poses, allowing for a higher degree of finish and accuracy. Students will be guided in how to achieve proportion, gesture and balance, how to convey artistry through the interplay of light and dark patterns, and how to model the form to create dimensionality and believability. Students are asked to use dry media: graphite, carbon, charcoal, sepia or sanguine, and to work on paper.
