Variations on a Line features new drawings by David Alexander, Brent Boechler and Val Nelson. Alexander's series of pencil crayon drawings were produced on site in the Okanagan region of BC and while on a trip to Argentina. Boechler's abstract ink drawings evoke the tension and interplay between manmade patterns and nature's more organic rhythms, while Nelson's mural-like perspectival works continue her interest in tourist destinations as sites of desire, memory and loss. All three artists will be present at the reception.
